Time magazine just released its annual list of Most Influential Teens and it’s enough to make you wonder what the hell you wasted your youth on.

But the most impressive thing about the list is its diversity, across genders, races and spheres of influence. From bowtie entrepreneur and Shark Tank favorite Moziah Bridges to rising feminist icon Zendaya, the list highlights accomplishments in many categories — and, hey, the Jenner sisters even made the cut.
Musician and Twitter philosopher Jaden Smith, first daughter Malia Obama and Nae Nae pioneer Silentó are also included among the teens Time believes have a “global impact through social media and overall ability to drive news.”
Many of the young women on this list are recognized for their discussion of feminism in a patriarchal society. People like Zendaya, Malala Yousafzai, Amandla Stenberg, Ariel Winter and Rowan Blanchard have challenged social norms and expectations that are constantly affecting women all over the world.
The most influential among social media were the ever-present Jenner sisters, Kendall and Kylie, who are two of the most followed people on Instagram. Kendall Jenner has the record for the most-liked Instagram picture, with 3.1 million likes, while Kylie boasts an astounding 60 million followers on social media overall. Popularity, after all, is one way to be influential.
Others included on the list: controversial clock maker Ahmed Mohamed, Vine star Shawn Mendes and transgender icon Jazz Jennings.
