Meghan And Harry Want To Continue Their ‘Megxit’ Move

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are seeking to continue to distance themselves from the British Royal Family. 

U.K. tabloid The Sun reports that Harry and Meghan want to create a more permanent agreement with the Queen of England so that the duo can continue to live as non-working royals in Montecito, Calif. 

They are reportedly planning to speak with more senior members of the family via zoom next month so that they can create an agreement to extend the situation that has come to be known as “Megxit.

In January, Harry and Meghan announced that they were stepping down as members of the royal family.

In the time since this announcement, the two have revealed huge deals with both Spotify and Netflix  — something that the royal family reportedly isn’t pleased with, leading to some believe that next month’s meeting won’t go well. 

Next month’s meeting may not be the only one. Speaking to The Sun, royal biographer Andrew Morton said that Harry could meet with the royal family in person sometime next year. 

“Things seem to have calmed down,” he said. “Harry has been in contact with the Queen more often than you would think. But certain things you need to be there in person to sort. They will need a few weeks. That could be done after April, depending on Covid.”
