Master P is leading Hurricane Ida relief efforts through his beverage company LA Great Water. The 51 year-old serial entrepreneur, also known as Percy Robert Miller, is providing access to clean drinking water to Louisiana residents who are recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.
Last Sunday (Aug 29), Hurricane Ida struck the Louisiana coastline, leaving the area severely damaged. The Category 4 storm led to floods, power outages, and unstable roofs. Over a million homes struggled to find power to meet their air conditioning and refrigeration needs while battling the the sweltering heat.
The hurricane ravaged many communities and transformed various aspects of day-to-day living, including access to running water. Master P stepped in to help Louisiana residents overcome one of the most ferocious storms to ever hit the country.
“Go to LAGreatWater.com if you need some help or assistance. We’re going to make sure our people get water. Make sure we’re able to feed our people and help them get back,” Master P told TMZ. “Hurricane Katrina was a tough one. This one even tougher for us. I’m just praying for my people at home. We’re trying to make sure we can get the elderly in safe environments. It’s going to take a little time man, so hopefully, the government will come through. But we’re going to do our part.”
