Bay Area Rapper Lil Yase Shot And Killed At 25

Lil Yase, an up-and-coming artist from the Bay Area, was reportedly shot and killed this weekend.

According to TMZ, his death remains a mystery with no explanation as of now.

Sources close to the rapper say he was shot early Saturday morning (November 28) and his body was discovered somewhere in the southern section of the East Bay, which was miles away from where he was last seen.

The sources also say Yase was with friends late Friday night at a Marin County recording studio, slightly north of San Francisco, and left his crew saying he’d be back shortly.

Just hours later, it was learned Yase had been shot dead.

TMZ reports Yase’s inner circle are stunned as the rapper had no known enemies.
