Newly released surveillance footage shows that the woman who harassed Grammy-winning musician Keyon Harrold and his son assaulted the teenager.
Ben Crump, the attorney for the Harrold family, released footage of the Dec. 26 incident that took place at the Arlo Hotel in Manhattan to the public via Twitter. The 19-second clip shows the woman lunging at the teen and tackling him to the floor.
The newly released video aligns with Harrold’s account of what happened. He posted a video of the woman, who has been revealed to be 22-year-old Miya Ponsetto, confronting him and his son because she believed that the teenager stole her phone.
“Take the case off, that’s mine,” she said. “Literally, give it back.”
Harrold responded, saying “You think there’s only one iPHone made in the world,” before the woman lets the pair know that she won’t let them leave the hotel.
In the caption for the video that he shared on Instagram, Harrold said that, “This person quote on quote ‘lost’ her iPhone, and apparently, my son magically acquired it, which [is] merely ridiculous.”
“This incident went on for five more minutes, me protecting my son from this lunatic,” he continued. “She scratched me; she tackled and grabbed him.”

Harrold went on to say that she wasn’t even a guest of the hotel, having checked out three days before, and that she found her phone when an Uber driver returned it to her.
According to the NY Post, Ponsetto has had a couple of brushes with the law in the last year.
She was arrested for public intoxication in Beverly Hills on Feb. 28.
In May, she was detained for drunk driving near Calabasas and hit with four misdemeanor counts — two for driving under the influence of alcohol, one for unlawful use of a driver’s license, and one for driving with a suspended license.
Ponsetto alleges that she was assaulted during the incident instead.
