On the latest episode of Love & Hip Hip: Hollywood, Apryl Jones opened up about feeling blindsided when Omarion ended their relationship, calling it one of the most difficult times in her life. After explaining that she could not eat and lost weight following the breakup, she credited the R&B singer’s B2K bandmate Lil Fizz for helping get her back on her feet.
However, after the episode aired, Fizz’s ex-girlfriend and baby’s mother, Moniece Slaughter, took to social media to claim that he there was more to the story. Actually, to Moniece, Fizz was actually the source of all of Jones’ problems and has been neglecting their son since getting together with her.
Jones, who is currently dating Fizz, claims he is her biggest supporter and proved to be a dependable figure in her life after the “Ice Box” singer left her. She even credited him for also supporting her children with Omarion.
Slaughter, however, claimed Fizz — real name Dreux Pierre Frédéric — has failed to put forth that same energy and attention towards his own child, Kam, whom he shares with her. In a lengthy Instagram comment, she claimed he refused to help out with taking care of their son when she asked.
“Damn. I was dying too. Because of DREUX! 102 lbs. Not sleeping. Not eating. Depressed. Not drinking my life away. But definitely drowning in tears out of desperate for the disrespect to stop,” she wrote in response to a clip of Jones’ comments from the episode. “The restoration and healing of our Co-Parenting relationship to being because kam was/is paying the price behaviorally & emotionally.”
Slaughter also mentioned that she “had to call Apryl to get a hold of” Fizz when she was “having a nervous break down.”
“When she put him on the phone and I said I was struggling and wasn’t sure how I was gonna make it through my week with kam and asked for their help, he told me [to] figure it out,” she wrote. “Pull it together it was my week. Call my parents. And hung up. Called to say I was trying to check into an inpatient depression behavioral center. He said great. Why are you calling? We have nothing to talk about. And hung up in my face.”
