On Monday, April 8, Jonathan Majors will learn whether or not he’ll have to serve jail time after being found guilty of third degree reckless assault and harassment stemming from his domestic dispute case involving ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
His latest attempt to get the conviction thrown out was denied by a judge on Wednesday. In response to that, Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry told People in a statement:
“Jonathan feels disappointed by the outcome of the motion, yet he upholds respect for the process. He continues to draw strength from his friends, fans, family, and dogs, harnessing his art and creativity. As he eagerly anticipates closing this chapter, he looks forward to redirecting his time and energy fully toward his family and his art.”
Majors currently faces up to a year in jail. But before we find out where he’ll be headed, let’s take a look back on how he got here in the first place.
