Tamera Mowry on Her New Baby Girl: 'I Love Dressing Her Up'

Tamera Mowry welcomed her second child, Ariah, to the world three months ago and The Real co-host kept it real when chatting about the benefits of adding a little girl to the family.

“I’d be lying to myself if I didn’t say I love dressing her up,” Mowry told Mom.me. “I have so much fun with girl clothes. There are so many more options than boys’ clothes. There are great boys’ clothes out there, but you have to become a lot more creative, whereas with girls’ clothes, the sky is the limit.”

Mowry, who already has 2-year-old son Aden with husband Adam Housley, has been trying to “learn a new balance” with juggling her career and raising two little ones. She did say that having personal conversations with other mothers  all the while pumping milk during their lunch breaks  has been “so open and so comforting.”

Her twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, is also raising a 4-year-old son and apparently the two moms have different parenting styles: Tia follows attachment parenting while Tamera is more traditional.

“Do what’s right for you and your family, and that’s what I have learned as I’ve gotten older and met with other moms. I’ve learned that everybody has their different parenting styles, but there’s one thing we all have in common, and that is take care of that child the best way we know how. To give that child love, and that’s what I focus on with my friends. I don’t so much focus on how different our parenting styles are. It’s the thing that we all have in common, and each family has different needs.”
