Two Key Baltimore Ravens Players Test Positive For COVID-19

One of the best matchups of week 12 in the NFL is Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh as the two rivals are vying for both playoff positioning as well as a division title. The former team though, are going to have to take the field with at least two of their star players.

The Ravens announced Monday (November 23) that two players tested positive for COVID-19 and that they’ve closed their facility after learning of the disappointing news.

“Late (Sunday) night, we were informed that multiple members of the Baltimore Ravens organization tested positive for COVID-19, and those individuals immediately began to self-quarantine,” the team said in a statement. “We have started the process of contact tracing and during this time, the Under Armour Performance Center will be closed, with all team activities conducted virtually.”

They added: “We will continue to work closely with and follow guidance from the NFL, team doctors and our medical trainers.”

The NFL Network reports the two players running backs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins.

The Ravens, who play the Steelers Thursday night, haven’t revealed if there are more positive cases.

The other two games slated for Thanksgiving include the Houston Texans taking on the Detroit Lions and the Washington Football Team facing off against the Dallas Cowboys in another divisional bout.
