With Easter only a few days away, former President Donald Trump took to social media to remind everyone about one of the worst persecutions of all time. Obviously, we’re referring to New York State Attorney General Letitia James’ efforts to collect on the multi-million dollar financial fraud judgment against Trump.
Last week, James re-affirmed her intent to seize Trump’s real estate assets in New York, including his golf course and skyscraper, if he didn’t secure payment for then-$464 million bond by Monday.
The former reality star responded with a very special Easter-themed message.
“Received this morning — Beautiful, thank you! “It’s ironic that Christ walked through His greatest persecution the very week they are trying to steal your property from you,” posted Trump on Truth Social.
He then added a reference to Psalm 109:3-8, a popular rallying cry amongst 2020 election deniers, which reads, “Let his days be few, and let another take his office.”

The former President is currently facing four criminal cases and 91 felony counts, and on top of the financial fraud judgment, Trump
During the hearing a New York judge set the trial in the case for April 15th, delaying it from its original start date due to new evidence from prosecutors.
As for forfeiting his property, a court on Monday lowered Trump’s bond to $175 million. According to the New York Times, Trump said he can pay — if true, this means at least for now he likely won’t have to part with his real estate assets.
