Having a bodacious booty isn’t anything new, yet the popularity of the badonkadonk in recent years has been unparalleled. For K. Michelle, the days of having a famously round rump are numbered, as the star revealed in an interview with blogger B. Scott that she’s having her butt enhancements removed.

The reason? Her curves are standing in the way of her budding acting career. “For me, and my career right now, and me doing business — like, really being on the frontline in business — I don’t need to have a man looking down at my a** when I’m trying to talk numbers,” she said.
“I have, like, movies and different things [in the works], and I was having a real conversation with Tyrese — we’re really, like, great friends. I was telling him about my butt, how I hate being typecasted because my bottom is so heavy. Not saying I don’t love myself, but…you know. For me, I want my normal shape back.” She also explained how difficult it’s been to find designer clothes to accommodate her frame and squashed those rumors about having a recent facelift done — she hasn’t, but she did cop to facial filler injections.
Michelle and Scott touched on the popularity of the hourglass figures owned by Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian and the like, and how many young girls look to these women as inspiration for wanting to enhance their own figures. The Rebellious Soul singer warns those eager to have a procedure to “think long and hard” about the long-term results.
“I would say If you have the coins to put it in, have the coins to take it out. No, really, because it might be a phase. I would tell them don’t go and do what you see people are doing, but if that’s what you want to do, if that’s the body you want, go get the body you want,” she said.
