Ian Connor is a celebrity stylist known for crafting the looks of Kanye West, Kylie Jenner, A$AP Rocky and dozens of other celebrities, but lately his name has been connected more frequently with rape allegations than couture.
A student named Mailka Anderson recently came forward with claims that the 22-year-old fashionista date raped her when the two were hanging out at her apartment back in 2014. Police dropped the case due to lack of sufficient evidence, but that hasn’t stopped Anderson from sharing her story with anyone who will listen.
Now, one of Connor’s famous pals and clients, Justine Skye (pictured below), decided to come to her friend’s defense on Twitter.
In a tweet that she’s since deleted, Skye wrote, “Trying to tarnish someone’s name for a quick come up is never cool or funny. Do better.”
Immediately after the post, followers came for Justine for being a victim-blamer. Though we don’t know for sure what wen’t down between Connor and Anderson, it’s probably best this drama stays off social media.
