KeKe Was 'Spooked' When 'Bachelorette' Star Asked Her Out

After being ambushed by romantic suitor and Bachelorette star Mike Johnson on national TV, KeKe Palmer has responded to his invitation — and she isn’t beating around the bush.

When her Strahan, Sara and KeKe co-hosts, Michael Strahan and Sara Haines, asked her if she’s decided to entertain his advance, the Hustlers star simply replied, “No.”

“I get real spooked about entertainers or reality [stars],” she admitted. “I don’t know, it really scares me to date people in the industry — that’s No. 1. No. 2: He asked me in front of everybody.”

As previously reported, Johnson randomly asked Palmer out while the three co-hosts interviewed him on the daytime talk show. Seconds before, he briefly touched on his short-lived relationship with pop star Demi Lovato before turning his attention to the actress.

“I felt ambushed,” she added. “I felt like it was a big ol’ gag.”
