Things just went from bad to worse for the Golden State Warriors as Steph Curry has broken his left hand, the Warriors announced early Thursday morning (Oct. 31).

Curry left Wednesday’s game against the Phoenix Suns in the third quarter after Phoenix big man Aron Baynes fell on top of Curry’s wrist after colliding with him under the Suns’ basket.

As a result of the collision, Curry should have shot two free throws, but he was escorted to the locker room and unable to do so, which, by rule, meant that he was disqualified from the rest of the game.
At the time he exited the contest, he was 3-for-11 from the field (1-for-7 from 3-point territory) and he’d only scored nine points in 21 minutes of action. The Suns went on to win the game, 121 to 110.
The Warriors have been struggling this season, and one of their key players suffering from a broken hand is literally the worst thing that could happen to them at this point.
